Healing isn’t about becoming someone new; it’s about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that have always deserved compassion, understanding, and care.
Hi, I’m Sana.
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) providing virtual therapy to adolescents (14+), adults, couples, and families across Ontario.
I work with individuals navigating eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported as we work together toward meaningful change.

Why I Became a Therapist
I’ve always been fascinated by people’s stories; how our experiences shape us, how relationships influence the way we see ourselves, and how resilience can emerge even after life’s most difficult moments.
Becoming a therapist wasn’t simply about choosing a career; it was about finding a way to combine my curiosity about human behaviour with my belief that people have an incredible capacity for growth when they feel truly understood.
What continues to inspire me is witnessing the small, often overlooked moments of change: when someone speaks to themselves with kindness for the first time, begins setting healthier boundaries, reconnects with their values, or discovers that healing doesn’t mean perfection, it means learning to live with greater self-compassion and authenticity.
It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients during these moments, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.

My Approach to Therapy
I believe therapy shouldn’t feel like trying to fit yourself into a particular model or technique. Every person brings a unique story, shaped by their experiences, relationships, strengths, and challenges. Because of this, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.
My role is to understand you as a whole person and tailor our work to your individual needs. Together, we’ll explore not only the concerns that brought you to therapy, but also the underlying patterns, beliefs, emotions, and relationships that may be contributing to them. Along the way, we’ll build on your strengths, develop practical tools, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
My approach is integrative, drawing from evidence-based therapies such as Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy, while also incorporating attachment-informed, trauma-informed, IFS-informed and Polyvagal-informed perspectives. Rather than relying on a single framework, I thoughtfully adapt these approaches to best support your unique goals, values, and lived experiences.
