Services

Therapy Services

I provide individual psychotherapy for adults (18+) experiencing a range of emotional and psychological concerns.

Services are offered under clinical supervision and in alignment with professional standards of practice.

Areas of focus

Mood Concerns

Support for experiences such as low mood, emotional heaviness, loss of motivation, or persistent emotional distress. Therapy may involve exploring emotional patterns, stressors, and coping strategies in a structured and supportive space.

Anxiety and stress-related challenges

Support for ongoing worry, stress, overwhelm, or heightened emotional and physical tension. Therapy focuses on understanding stress responses, developing awareness, and exploring ways to relate differently to anxious thoughts and situations.

Trauma-related experiences

Support for individuals affected by past or ongoing distressing experiences that continue to influence emotional well-being, relationships, or daily functioning. Therapy is approached with care, pacing, and attention to safety and stability.

Eating and body image concerns

Support for concerns related to food, eating patterns, body image, and self-perception. Therapy may involve exploring emotional, relational, and contextual factors that influence one’s relationship with food and body.

Adult ADHD-related emotional and relational challenges

Support for adults navigating emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationship patterns, or stress often associated with ADHD. Therapy focuses on understanding lived experiences rather than solely on symptom reduction.

Life transitions and adjustment

Support during periods of change such as migration, career shifts, relationship changes, academic transitions, or other significant life adjustments. Therapy offers space to process uncertainty, loss, and evolving identity.

Adult autism-related experiences

Support for adults exploring social, emotional, sensory, or relational experiences that may be associated with autism. Therapy offers a space to reflect on lived experiences, identity, coping strategies, and the impact of neurodiversity within personal, relational, and cultural contexts.

Identity-related concerns

Support for exploring questions related to identity, values, belonging, culture, and self-understanding. Therapy can help individuals reflect on how personal, cultural, and social factors shape their experiences and choices.

Personality-related patterns and experiences

Support for adults experiencing long-standing emotional, relational, or interpersonal patterns that may contribute to distress or difficulties in relationships, self-image, or emotional regulation. Therapy offers a structured and reflective space to explore these patterns with curiosity, care, and consistency over time.

How I Work

I work collaboratively with clients to create a therapeutic space that feels thoughtful, structured, and responsive to individual needs. Sessions focus on building understanding, awareness, and practical skills, guided by evidence-based approaches and ongoing supervision.

Therapy Sessions

  • Session length: Typical sessions are 50–60 minutes.
  • Virtual / in-person: Sessions are currently offered virtually to clients in Ontario.

In my early professional years, I was asking the question; How can I treat, or cure, or change this person?

Now I would phrase the question in this way: How can I provide a relationship which this person may use for his own personal growth? “
